Roomie is the college roommate app that we all wish we had when starting our college experience. App ideas were brought to a team setting where my concept, Roomie, was chosen for the members to offer their unique individual design take. On Roomie you create an account using your school email address and then quickly fill out a few questions that our research showed were important to college students. After that you are able to swipe through possible roommates at your school and chat with your matches. Roomie also provides quick access to your schools roommate request form by clicking the Roomies button in the chat. The goal of this app is to create a more personal experience when looking for your potential roommate. Going to college can be a stressful process, Roomie exists to make the roommate experience as painless as possible.
